Sorbster

Se-1 Selenium

Sorbster® Se-1 is a highly functionized, enriched, alumina media that covalently bonds soluble selenium and other trace contaminants to its active sites. It is suitable for use across a broad range of water qualities.

Cu-1 Copper

Sorbster® Cu-1 is a promoted alumina media which covalently bonds soluble copper to its active sites. Sorbster® Cu-1 is to be used in applications requiring the removal of copper only from industrial waters.

MM-1 Multi-Metal

Sorbster® MM-1 media is a highly functionalized, chemically enhanced alumina media that covalently bonds multiple soluble metals and trace contaminants to its active sites. Metals such as arsenic, selenium, zinc, boron, mercury, and hexavalent chromium are permanently removed from the water. Sorbster® MM-1 can also be used to remove selected anions and cyanide.

Hg-1 Mercury

Sorbster® Hg-1 media is functionalized, enriched alumina media that covalently bonds soluble metals and trace contaminants to its active sites. Sorbster® Hg-1 has a very high proficiency for the rapid removal of soluble ionic mercury from all water streams.

F-1 Fluoride

Sorbster® F-1 media is a promoted alumina media that covalently bonds fluoride to its active sites. The presence of proprietary promoted reactive chemistries throughout the media boost fluorides removal. It effectively removes fluoride across a broad pH range of 3 to 9 with the highest removal rates typically occurring between pH 5 to pH 7, maximizing removal efficiency vs. competitors.

Si-1 Silica

Sorbster® Si-1 alumina-based media removes soluble or reactive silica from industrial water. It is manufactured to specific physical characteristics to enhance silica removal. Reactive silica bonds rapidly throughout the high media macro-porosity and surface area for removal rates up to 99%. Sorbster® Si-1 has a 20-30 weight % capacity for silica adsorption. Reduction of other anions in water may also be achieved by Sorbster® Si-1.
